Ananda Mikola was the class of the Renault V6 field today, battling his way from last on the grid to second place in the Sprint Race before dominating the Grand Race in front of his home crowd. “My Eurasia Motorsport car was perfect!” said a delighted Mikola



Daniel Ricciardo again finished on the podium for the final Sentul race with Aaron Lim fourth and Aaron Lim fifth. Dominic Storey was barged off the track and failed to finish.



Daniel Ricciardo had a race long dice with James Grunwell for third place, losing out despite the pair swapping places several times. Lim was a competitive fifth whilst Zahir Ali spun out after contact with Grunwell in an attempt to pass.


Ananda Mikola suffered a rear suspension failure on the first lap of qualifying for the Sentul round of the Renault V6 Asia consigning him to the back of the grid.


Daniel Ricciardo once again finished on the podium with a great third place finish in the first of three races at the Sentul International Circuit in Indonesia.


Indonesian Ananda Mikola is confident his knowledge of Sentul Circuit, together with the support of his home crowd, will bring Eurasia Motorsport their second victory of the 2006 V6 Asia season.



Indonesian Zahir Ali is hoping that a home advantage, racing at the Sentul Circuit near Jakarta, will allow him to produce his best results of the year to date.


New Zealander, Dominic Storey, travels to the next round of the Formula BMW Asia Series at the Sentul Circuit in Indonesia, in a confident frame of mind. The last event at the Goldenport Circuit in Beijing saw him exceed his team’s expectations by taking a fine second position in round six held at the Chinese circuit. Storey is almost certainly the least experienced driver on the grid and the team had set him a target of one podium finish by the mid-season point.



Aaron Lim is confident that he can get back to his competitive ways in Sentul on July 22/23 and put the shakey start to his season behind him.


Daniel Ricciardo flies to Jakarta for rounds nine to eleven of the Formula BMW Asia Series, which will be run at the Sentul International Circuit on July 22/23, in a confident frame of mind. At the last event held at the Goldenport Circuit in Beijing China he came away with three podium finishes with the added confidence booster of leading the last Chinese race for over half its distance.


Ananda Mikola salvaged a competitive fifth place finish in the Renault V6 Asia feature race at the Sepang F1 Circuit after enduring a difficult race weekend. An over optimistic Hanns Lin crashed into Mikola in the sprint race robbing him of an almost certain podium finish resulting in a back of the grid start for the feature race.


Eurasia Motorsport driver, Australian Daniel Ricciardo, started round 8 from second on the grid, grabbed the lead from pole sitter Sam Abay at the first turn and led for ten of the twenty laps before succumbing to pressure from Abay. Aaron Lim finished fourth, Zahir Ali 8th after spinning and Dominic Storey 9th due to clashing with James Grunwell.


Eurasia Motorsport driver Daniel Ricciardo was disappointed to finish third after holding second place for all but the last half a lap of the race. Aaron Lim was fourth, Zahir Ali sixth and Dominic Storey was seventh after starting from a pit lane.



Eurasia Motorsport’s Dominic Storey finished a fine second in round six of the Formula BMW Asia Series at the Goldenport Circuit in Beijing. Team mate Daniel Ricciardo backed him up with a third place finish.



Aaron Lim hopes that the Goldenport Circuit will see a reversal of his fortunes this season. He is confident that he will be vying for a race win at the Beijing Circuit on June 10-11th.


Eighteen year old Indonesian race driver, Zahir Ali, is in confident mood that he has put his shaky start to the 2006 Formula BMW Asia season behind him and that he can now look forward to a successful event at the Goldenport Circuit, Beijing China where rounds 6 to 8 of the series will be held on June 10-11th.

Daniel Ricciardo travels in a confident frame of mind to Beijing for the next round of the Formula BMW Asia Series to held at the Goldenport Circuit on June 10-11th.


Australian Daniel Ricciardo finished a fine third place in the final race of the weekend at the Sepang F1 circuit. Earl Bamber once again led with Sam Abay second whilst James Grunwell made a mistake on the second lap and fell back from fourth place to finish sixth just in front of Aaron Lim. Zahir Ali recorded the race’s fastest lap.



Ananda Mikola entered the history books by winning the main race in the first Formula V6 Asia by Renault. The Eurasia Motorsport driver started the race from fifth on the grid and worked his way up to second place behind Karun Chandok. The race was red flagged twice, first when a track sign collapsed just after the cars had passed on the first lap and secondly when two cars tangled at the first corner of the restart.
