Daniel Ricciardo travels in a confident frame of mind to Beijing for the next round of the Formula BMW Asia Series to held at the Goldenport Circuit on June 10-11th.

Australian Daniel Ricciardo finished a fine third place in the final race of the weekend at the Sepang F1 circuit. Earl Bamber once again led with Sam Abay second whilst James Grunwell made a mistake on the second lap and fell back from fourth place to finish sixth just in front of Aaron Lim. Zahir Ali recorded the races fastest lap.

Ananda Mikola entered the history books by winning the main race in the first Formula V6 Asia by Renault. The Eurasia Motorsport driver started the race from fifth on the grid and worked his way up to second place behind Karun Chandok. The race was red flagged twice, first when a track sign collapsed just after the cars had passed on the first lap and secondly when two cars tangled at the first corner of the restart.

Daniel Ricciardo finished a fine fourth, third in the Rookie Class with Dominic Storey 7th, fourth in the Rookie Class with Aaron Lim 10th and Zahir Ali 11th. Hamad Al Fardan won the race.

Daniel Ricciardo qualified third despite a rear wing failure which saw him spin out of control, Zahir Ali was 6th, Dominic Storey 7th and Aaron Lim 10th. Sam Abay was fastest from James Grunwell.

Daniel Ricciardo set the second fastest time in practice for the F.BMW support race at the Sepang F1 GP. Zahir Ali was 5th and Dominic Storey 7th. Qualifying takes place on Saturday with the first race following in the afternoon.

Malaysian driver, Aaron Lim, has been awarded the BMW Rookie Scholarship prize for the 2005 Season which has allowed him to join the Eurasia Motorsports Team for the Malaysian GP support races.

The Sepang F1 Circuit F.BMW test continued with Daniel Ricciardo and Zahir Ali undertaking another full days running for the Eurasia Motorsport Team. Both of the young novice drivers continue to impress with their pace.
