Eurasia Motorsport are conducting a five day test at the Sepang F1 circuit from February 4th to 8th in order to evaluate potential drivers for the 2006 season.

Sixteen year old Sho Hanawa completed a three test with Eurasia Motorsport at the Sepang F1 circuit in Malaysia. The team are now well into their driver evaluation program for 2006 with their next test scheduled at Sepang from February 3-6th.

Test days are available with the team on the Sepang GP circuit on January 3,4 and 5th and February 6 and 7th. Cost is US$1700 per day, new tyres and insurance not included. The January dates will give drivers the opportunity to test a Formula BMW car prior to the BMW Scholarship trials to be held in Bahrain late January.

As a result of the Minardi name disappearing from Formula One, it has been decided to adopt the name of the parent company of Minardi Team Asia, Eurasia Motorsport.

Dado Pena finished fourth in Round Eleven of the Asian Formula Three Series held at the Batangas Race Circuit on November 6th. He had started a disappointed sixth after a qualifying crash but worked his way up the field finishing just off the podium but a place in front of arch rival, Tyson Sy.

Greg Murphy wrapped up second in the 2005 Asian Formula Three Promotion Class Championship with two steady drives at the final event of the year held at the Batangas Race Circuit in the Philippines.

Aaron Lim started sixth and worked up to a podium position grabbing third on the last lap. Chan spent the whole race battling with Robert Boughey before losing out on the final tour.

Aaron Lim started sixth but spun on the first lap attempting to rest fourth place from Aarman Ebrahim at the final hairpin when ambition overtook the laws of physics and he spun to the back of the field. Jonathan Chan started 9th but was hit by Dirani at the first turn spinning him round and almost hitting the recovering Lim. Both drivers had to scythe through the field with Lim just beating Chan into 7th place.

Dado Pena was extremely disappointed with his results at the Sentul Circuit, Indonesia after constantly setting times in the top three during practice. A spin in race one led to a 7th on the grid start to race two.

Greg Murphy consolidated his second place in the Asian F3 Promotions Class Championship with second and third place finishes at Sentul Circuit, Indonesia on September 18th.

Jonathan Chan finished a fine fifth in the wet round 12 of the Asian Formula BMW Series held at the Autopolis Circuit in Japan. His team mate, Aaron Lim, had a torrid time crashing out of both races

Greg Murphy finished third in the Promotions Class for round 7 of the Asian F3 Series held at the Sentul Circuit in Indonesia but was caught out by torrential rain during round 8 and was unable to finish.

Dado Pena, racing for Team Goddard Minardi Team Asia, proved his podium finish in the earlier Asian Formula Three Series event held in China was no fluke by taking a double podium at the Sentul International Circuit in Indonesia.

Two incident packed races, the first held in very wet conditions the second having two red flag stoppages, saw both Lim and Chan taking their best results to date. Al Fardan won the first race with Patrizi winning the second.
