Kyle Mitchell made it back onto the podium in a fine drive whilst Kushlani was disappointed to be off the podium having run in front of his team mate midway through the race.

Eurasia’s Partiv Sureshwaren started from 8th on the grid for round 3 at the Sepang F1 Circuit after spinning out after one timed lap in qualifying. He paid even more for the QTT off by getting caught up at the first corner with Hafiz Koh and crashing out of the race.

Kyle Mitchell held on to fourth place despite suffering from his cycling injuries whilst Akhil Kushlani proved he is a real racer by scything his way though the field from the back of the grid to take 8th place. Mitchell was second rookie home whilst Akhil was third in class.

Eurasia’s Kyle Mitchell fought his way from 8th on the grid to a fine 4th place in the ten lap event on the Sepang F1 GP circuit whilst his team mate, Akhil Kushlani, got caught up in a first lap accident which put him out on the spot.

F.BMW Asia drivers, Kyle Mitchell and Akhil Kushlani along with V6Asia pilot, Partiv Sureshwaren, are confident they will have a successful weekend at the Japanese Super GT event to be held at the Sepang F1 Circuit on June 23-24.

Team Goddard, a Eurasia Motorsport associate team, made it a clean sweep at the Sentul, Indonesia round of the Asian F3 Pacific Series. Henri Karjalainen took the top spot after qualifying and won all three races recording fastest lap in all three races. He was ably backed up by team mate, Moreno Soeprapto, who went home with two second place and one third place trophies. Team Goddard’s Paul Ip won all three Promotions Class races.

Kyle Mitchell battled through from twelfth on the grid to take a well deserved second place whilst Khushlani rued a mid race spin when in third place which cost him a podium finish. Mitchell was first in the Rookie Class.

Partiv Sureshwaren finished second for Eurasia Motorsport in the Grand Race at the Sepang Circuit today. Seth Ingam was first. A huge first corner accident saw the race suspended whilst the wreckage was removed and at the re-start Sureshwaren jumped into third on the road and held the place to the finish This became second after Hanns Linn received a penalty.

Akhil Khushlani finished fifth after a fraught race which saw his car suffer suspension damage as a result of contact with another competitor whilst Kyle Mitchell threw away his chances by jumping the start and attracting a drive through penalty.

Partiv Sureshwaren finished seventh in the V6 Asia Sprint race at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia having started from the pit lane as a result of a qualifying session off into the turn one barriers.

Kyle Mitchell was an impressive third overall in round two of the Formula BMW Asia Series with team mate, Akhil Khushlani, duplicating his first race fifth finish. Mitchell was also first in the Rookie Class with Akhil taking second place.

Akhil Khushlani finished fifth overall, second in the Rookie Class, in the first round of the Formula BMW Asia Series held at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia today. Team mate, Kyle Mitchell, did not finish after Ross Jamison used the rear of Mitchell’s car as a launching pad damaging the rear wing.

Indian driver, Partiv Sureshwaren, was a last minute signing for the Eurasia Motorsport Formula V6 Asia team. He started the new relationship well, getting within six tenths of the pace on his first taste of the car and circuit.

The first day of practice for rounds 1-4 of the 2007 Formula BMW Asia Series were held at the Sepang race circuit today. Eurasia drivers, Akhil Khushlani and Kyle Mitchell were both happy with their cars and are confident of qualifying well tomorrow.

New F.BMW signings, Kyle Mitchell and Akhil Khushlani, were immediately on the pace at the official test held at the Sepang Circuit on April 13-14th. Mitchell posted the third fastest time with Khushlani fifth fastest on the day. “We are very pleased considering the two drivers in front of us have had considerably more testing time than our guys and they were throwing new tyres at their cars” reported a team spokesman. “Kyle and Khushlani have more scope for improvement which makes us very confident for the season.”

Eurasia Motorsports affiliated team, Team Goddard, and its driver Henri Karjalainen set the pace in the Asian F3 Pacific class in the Melbourne F1 GP support races but was robbed by bad luck and the bad judgment of his rivals. Team Mate, Moreno Soeprapto, also suffered bad luck although he did take a class win in the first race.

Moreno Soeprapto will race a Team Goddard Dallara 304 TOM’S in the Melbourne F1 GP support event. He joins Paul Ip and Championship leader, Henri Karjalainen in the Team.

Henri Karjalainen wins round two - Jan 21 07
Henri Karjalainen, driving for Eurasia Motorsport associate team, Team Goddard, took a lights to flag win in round two of the Asian Formula Three Pacific Series. Team Mate, Paul Ip, was sixth. Oliver Turvey punted Henri out of round three, gaining a 30 minute penalty for aggressive driving,dropping him to third which was little consolation to Karjalainen. Paul Ip was fifth.

Henri Karjalainen, driving for Team Goddard which is afflilated to Eurasia Motorsport, won the first round of the Asian Formula Three Pacific Series at the Zhuhai International Circuit today. His team mate, Paul Ip, finished seventh.
