Malaysian Aaron Lim is aiming to end the year on a high note in the final round of the Formula BMW Asia Series to be held at the Zhuhai International Circuit in China on October 22nd. Lim currently lies fifth in the Championship and his aim is to take fourth place from James Grunwell. He currently lies 26 points behind with 63 points on the table so it is an achievable target.

Zahir Ali knows Zhuhai, he has raced there in the Formula Renault series and he hopes this will give him the edge when F.BMW Asia visit the Chinese track for the final round on the 2006 Series on October 22nd.

Daniel Ricciardo won two of the three Formula BMW Asia races held at the Bira Circuit in Thailand prior to the Shanghai F1 Grand Prix support races held earlier this month. Fastest in practice in Shanghai he had high hopes of winning before the Formula One Team bosses. However the weather played its part with qualifying and both races turning out to be wet. This was the first time Daniel had driven a car in the wet and it gave his more experienced rivals a significant edge.

Dominic Storey hopes to demonstrate what he will do in the 2007 Formula BMW Asia Series by ending on a high note at the final event of this year’s series in Zhuhai, China. This will be first time Formula BMW has visited the built for Formula One Circuit in Southern China and Storey hopes this will give him a competitive edge.

Daniel Ricciardo finished a battling third in Round 16 of the Formula BMW Asia Series held at the Shanghai F1 GP event. In a thrilling end to the race Ricciardo and Bamber passed and re-passed each other several times. Dominic Storey was fourth from Aaron Lim and Zahir Ali.

Dominic Storey finished a fine third in the first of two support races for the F1 GP held at the Shanghai International Circuit. Team mates Daniel Ricciardo and Aaron Lim finished fourth and fifth whilst Zahir Ali had a storming drive back to seventh after spinning ot the back of the field.

Daniel Ricciardo led, spun in a wheel to battle with Earl Bamber then crashed out spoiling what had been a perfect weekend. Aaron Lim made it two second places in a row whilst Dominic Storey bounced back from his previous race crash to complete the podium. Zahir Ali drove well from the back of the grid to finish fourth.

Eurasia Motorsport driver, Daniel Ricciardo, took another lights to flag win at the Bira Circuit in Thailand today. His team mate, Aaron Lim was a fine second with Zahir Ali 5th. Ricciardo now starts as favorite for round 14 of the Formula BMW Asia Series to be run later today.

Daniel Ricciardo took the lead into the first corner for the start of round 12 of the Formula BMW Asia Series at the Bira Circuit in Thailand and went on to take an accomplished win from Bamber and Abay. Dominic Storey was a competitive fourth from Aaron Lim whilst Zahir Ali suffered bent suspension after a collision with James Grunwell.

Zahir Ali is confident he can get it together for the Bira race this weekend and achieve his first podium finish of the year. The Indonesian has shown flashes of speed to date and he is hopeful that he can convert this into a good result.

Dominic Storey travels to Thailand for the Formula BMW Asia event at the Bira Circuit, Pattaya, on September 2/3rd with renewed confidence of scoring his first car race win. The previous event in Indonesia had been an unmitigated disaster, courtesy of some dodgy cooking at his hotel close to the Sentul International Circuit.

Daniel Ricciardo has already scored six top three finishes this year in his first season in the competitive Formula BMW Asia Series. His aim now is to reach the top step of the podium for that elusive first win. His confidence will be high after a third place finish in the previous round at the Sentul Circuit in Indonesia but even more so by a sensational debut in a one off appearance in the Formula BMW UK Championship.

Aaron Lim will test for the Malaysian A1GP Team at Silverstone Circuit in the UK this week. His test is a result of his efforts in Formula BMW Asia and again demonstrates the series is a career path for serious drivers.

Eurasia driver, Daniel Ricciardo, took in the Snetterton round of the Formula BMW UK Championship and impressed with an eighth place finish.

Ananda Mikola was a disappointed 4th after an eventul race which began with a bad start, continued with a fighting drive from 5th to 2nd then ended in 4th place after a spin. Karun Chandook won from Matt Haliday.

Ananda Mikola finished a close second to Karun Chandook in an exciting sprint race at the Zhuhai circuit today. Mikola set fastest lap in his efforts to demote his Indian rival.

Eurasia Motorsports driver, Ananda Mikola, topped the timesheets in two of the three practice sessions held today and set the fastest time of the day. Saturday will see qualifying and the sprint race and Mikola now looks favourite to take top honours

Ananda Mikola is on a high after his V6 Asia race win in Sentul and he is confident he can duplicate the victory at this weekend’s Zhuhai Circuit event. Mikola is no stranger to the Chinese circuit having taken several victories there in Asian Formula Three.

Eurasia Motorsport driver, Aaron Lim, will test for the A1GP Malaysian team at Silverstone in the UK late in August. This will be big jump for the Formula BMW Asia driver but he is confident he will give a good account of himself.
