Chris Maliepaard impresses at Sepang F3 test – Oct 05 08

Chris Maliepaard, a race winner in the British Formula Ford Championship this season, spent four days testing Eurasia Team Goddard’s championship winning Dallara 304 TOM’S car getting up to speed prior to testing in the UK for a 2009 British F3 campaign. He was able to get under the Asian F3 qualifying record after an extremely impressive performance.

The team was really happy with Chris’s performance. “I think the best compliment we could give him is that we would be really happy to have him drive for us in the 2009 Asian F3 Series. I believe he will be able to test for any team in British F3 now and immediately get up to speed.” reported Mark Goddard of Eurasia Team Goddard. “It’s a really cost effective way to learn how to drive an F3 car, much cheaper than testing in the UK and warm weather is guaranteed. A cold wet Pembrey or Snetterton at three times the cost is a far less sensible introduction to F3, in my opinion” added Goddard.
