GP2 driver, Jolyon Palmer, recently tested a Eurasia Formula Pilota car at the Sepang F1 Circuit to learn the circuit prior to the first round of the GP2 Series held at the track over the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix weekend. He shattered the Pilota lap record in the process. Palmer found the car an excellent tool in which to learn the circuit, demonstrating that the Pilota car is an ideal vehicle for a young driver to develop their talent. This was confirmed when he set fastest time in GP2 practice before qualifying 7^th.

Craft Eurasia drivers, Frank Yu and Samson Chan, finished first and second in the GT Race at the Malaysian F1 GP. The two Ginetta G50Z GT3 drivers fought over the lead in a dramatic race which ran several laps under the safety car after a first lap accident.

Testing resumes for our JK Racing Asia Series Team at Sepang Circuit once the Malaysian Grand Prix has been held. Dates are April 9-11, 23-26 and May 21-23. The first round of the series will be held at Sepang on May 27th followed by races at Paul Ricard and Spa in Europe before returning to Asia for the Singapore and Indian F1 support events. Final round is at Delhi supporting the GT World Championship. We still have seats for the season, interested drivers should contact us now.

Testing for Formula Pilota will take place at the Zhuhai International Circuit in China, close to Hong Kong and Macau, this April. Three of the team’s four cars are filled for the season. Drivers interested in racing for the 2011 Formula Pilota Maters Champion Team should contact us now to book a seat for testing. Dates are April 2-3 and 16-18.

Graduates of Eurasia Motorsport will be racing at the highest levels of the sport in 2012 once again confirming the grounding received with Eurasia allows drivers to develop successful careers in the sport.
